Ingredients
  • Meatballs:
  • 1 kg beef mince
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp McCormick Organic Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 tbsp
  • 1/2 tbsp
  • sea salt
  • black pepper
  • Sauce:
  • 700 mL tomato puree or passata
  • 1 tbsp McCormick Organic Ground Paprika
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella
  • ½ cup grated parmesan or pecorino cheese
  • fresh basil leaves
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (160˚C fan forced).
  2. Combine mince, onion, garlic powder, McCormick Cumin Ground, Mixed Herbs, Oregano Leaves in a bowl, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Roll into 24 tablespoon size balls and place into a large baking dish.
  4. To make the sauce: combine tomato puree with McCormick Paprika. Then pour the sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle with the cheeses.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes until meatballs are cooked and cheese is melted and golden.
  6. Serve with a tossed green side salad.
